While I've always been invested in the arts, my true passion for film and TV came about by accident when I began my undergraduate career at Boston College.
I had no idea what I wanted to major in or even what I wanted to do in my free time, so I went to the school's Student Involvement Fair, where someone shoved a video camera in my face and asked if I was interested in being on TV. I joined BCTV and immediately fell in love with every aspect of production.
After graduating from BC with a BA in Film Studies, I moved back home to Chicago, where I now work professionally in technology! I still continue to refine my photo and video skills as a hobby, and I love being able to tell a story visually, so I hope we can work together to tell yours.
In January 2016, I began an internship with GrooveBoston, a company that brings legendary events to universities around the nation. I worked with their photo and video vendors to assist with whatever they needed, and after just 2 shows, I was responsible for full photography coverage for events on my own. In between shows, I also completed a few videos, including profiles on each intern. Here is the one I created for myself.
